I don't know about where you live -- mostly because I don't even know who you ARE, individually -- but this has been one mild winter! Not that I'm complaining, unless it's indicative of the Earth falling into the sun or something... and even then, why be super-cold the whole trip down?
Granted, it hasn't been all palm trees and coconut oil this season. We've still got our winter standbys of gray skies, mud and seasonal depression, but compared to previous years, when one had to chisel the frozen corpses of woodland creatures off the lawn every morning lest they result in bare patches when the growing season returns, this is barely a slap on the wrist.
I grant that being unable to characterize winter in terms of anything other than a form of punishment probably isn't the world's healthiest attitude, but we live where we live. Get back here, Spring!
